Asian Institute of Technology is leading international post graduate institution in Asia. In Vietnam, we offer high quality international postgraduate education, short-term professional training and consultancy services. We are expanding our activities in training areas and are now we wish to recruit a mature individual for following positions:

01 Program Officer for the Environment and Development Section (EDS) in Ha Noi

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Courses planning and implementation: curriculum development and material preparation; course planning, scheduling and supervision; course evaluation.
• Technical writing: training needs research and analysis; survey design and implementation; report writing.
• Project and program development: training and consultancy proposals to clients; projects negotiations; partners and information sources development.
• Project monitoring and coordination: contents and logistics for consultancy activities; trainers and consultants coordination.
• Networking and marketing: development of potential clients/ partners for short-term and academic training run by EDS; development of marketing and communication materials.
• Others as assigned by Head of EDS and the AITVN Director.

• Relevant postgraduate degree (preferably from AIT) and/or work experience in either of the following fields: environment, urban development, rural development, trade and international studies.
• Knowledge of AIT academic structures and AITVN operation processes
• Experience in training and consultancy activities
• Knowledge of institutions, industries and donors in the Vietnamese context
• Good command of written and spoken English and Vietnamese and a good ability to translate and interpret in these languages, if needed.
• High level interpersonal skills liaising with relevant Government and non-Government agencies and businesses.
• Proven competence in using computer programs, including word processing, database and excel spreadsheets, etc.
• Good level of administrative and organizational skills, including time management and people skills.
• Proven strong commitment to client service and ability to work as a team member, to organize work, determine priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
