We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Vietnamese individualworking full time with our dynamic team in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City for below position:

Job Title: HEALTH SERVICE COORDINATOR

Report to: Health Service Manager

Job purposes: The Health Services Coordinator (HS Coordinator) is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring various aspects of PSI/Vietnam’s
efforts to strengthen the capacity of private sector providers (pharmacists as well as clinic-based providers) to provide quality services and appropriate referrals to
public facilities for the prevention and treatment of tuberculosis, hypertension and other health issues. The HS Coordinator will contribute to the selection, training,
supportive supervision and monitoring of affiliated private providers. This position will also be responsible for strengthening PSI’s collaboration with provincial
partners,local authorities and other implementing partners.

The HS Coordinator will provide day-to-day management and supervision of field-based Quality Improvement (QI) Officers to enable trained private providers to
consistently comply with national technical standards and project requirements.

Major duties:

The HS Coordinator will:

Contribute tothe selection, training, supportive supervision and monitoring of private providers including pharmacists and clinicians. This will involve in (i) working
closely with PSI technical staff, MOH/DOH and training consultants to identify training needs, develop curricula, implement training and conduct periodic
supportive supervision visits; (ii) coordinating with local Department of Health etc., (iii) providing periodic visits project trained private providers to improve
adherence to quality service delivery standards

•Provide day-to-day management and support for a team of QI Officers to improve compliance with national technical standards and project requirements.

•Work with HS Manager to coordinate with other PSI departments to conduct project related activities in the fields.

•Coordinate closely withprovincial partners, local authorities and implementing partners

•Represent PSI Vietnam at provincial/regional levels technical meetings or events as requested.

Selection criteria

•Medical doctor, additional degrees in public health/health administration, epidemiology etc, will be considered an added advantage.

•At least 2 years experience in health care service provision or health development projects at community level.Preference given to those with experience in
training provision and/or QI for health workers.

•Experience working in private health sector an added advantage.

•Knowledgeable regarding tuberculosis control, non-communicable diseases and other public health priorities.

•Strong English written and verbal communication skills. Good competency in MS suites.
