If you are undergraduate / graduate students or young business persons with less than 3 year working experiences who wish to become the future environmental leaders in Asia, apply for “JEEF Young Environmental Leadership Program in Asia”. In the first year of 2010, we will welcome the participants from 7 countries, namely

Undergraduate / graduate students or young business persons with less than 3 year working experiences who currently reside in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Japan * Should be under 30 years of age when applying |

Schedule: |
* First Meeting in Vietnam: August 21－25 (or 26,depending on the flight), 2010 * Implementation of environmental projects in each country: Sept-Dec, 2010 One excellent per each country plan will be allocated with the grant of JPY100,000-. * Second Meeting in Vietnam: February 10－12, 2011 (subject to change) *JEEF is able to issue a letter of invitation if your organization / university needs any document to permit your leave during the program. |

Free（International travel costs, accommodation and activities in Qualifications: * Able to participate in 2 meetings in Vietnam * Able to implement the environmental projects from September-December, 2010 * Able to present and discuss environmental issues in English * Able to cooperate in writing the web articles (e.g. weblog) at least once a month during the program period. * Have a strong will to play an active role as environmental leader even after this program |

Criteria of selection |
Successful candidates must have basic environmental knowledge and English skills and moreover have concrete plans for their own environmental projects. Environmental project plans are evaluated by their rationales, feasibility, sustainability and impact on the society. |

Interview |
Those who passed the selection by documents will be asked to participate in telephone or online interviews. |

Announcement of selection result |
We will announce the result to all applicants by June 30. |
