The UN Youth Theme Group will be working with a group of about 12 young people in Ha Noi in a PhotoVoice project.
The idea of this project is to help the young people to explore and present their lives through their own photos and text. At the end of the project, there will be an exhibition of the materials produced by the young people. We intend to meet with the young people twice a week for 3-4 weeks, starting in one or two week’s time.
We are looking for a volunteer video artist/ student to document these young people when they work on the project. The volunteer would have experience with filming and editing.
The video footage will be made into a short documentary and shown during the exhibition in mid-December 2008. It may also be used for other education purposes or in development programs.
