Summary: Urban Solutions, a Dutch Consultancy firm (www.urban-solutions.nl and
www.urbandiscovery.asia) based in the Netherlands with Representative Offices in
Hanoi and Hong Kong, provides advisory services and assistance for capacity
building programmes in the urban sector in developing countries and transitional
economies. We specialise in three key areas:
► Inner City Revitalisation/Urban Cultural Heritage (ICR)
► Housing Policy & Finance (HP&F)
► Sustainable Urban Management (SUM)
In Hanoi Urban Solutions is now looking for a Junior Office Assistant with the following requirements:
Qualifications:
– Excellent in English
– Confident and good communication skills
– Flexible and energetic
– Active, dynamic and outgoing
– Willing to do a variety of tasks and work on weekends (occasionally)
– Basic knowledge of simple financial matters would be an advantage
– Able to work independently as well as in a team
– Open minded and willing to work in an informal environment
Main Tasks:
– Assist Office Manager and other Urban Solutions staff in Administrative and other office works in Hanoi office including receiving, preparing and sending correspondence, documents, faxing,
scanning, photocopy, logistics and phone/reception duties,
– Assist in office filing system and ensure proper documentation and correspondence,
– Assist in updating information on databases & the websites of Urban Solutions,
– Provide ad-hoc translation of office documents and interpretation at meetings when and if
required,
– Assist in financial & accounting matters,
– Assist Urban Discovery activities.
Salary:
– Ranges from 4 to 5 million VND.
