World Vision International – Vietnam invites Vietnamese competent candidates for the positions:
1. MANAGER (01 position) working for the Area Development Program (ADP) in Tua Chua district, Dien Bien province.
Area Development Program (ADP) is an approach to child focused development, emphasizing the process of community participation, sustainability, and integrating activities in the areas of food security, agriculture, micro-enterprise, health, nutrition, education, water, and sanitation.
Main Responsibilities: To lead the ADP Team in working with the community to design project plan, to implement project activities, to monitor and evaluate progress, and to transfer the ownership of the development of the ADP to the community members.
Requirements:
University graduate in any field, preferably in education, health, community development, or social studies.
3-4 years relevant work experience in community development including demonstrated capacity in program management.
Well-developed leadership skills including representation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in managing and supervising staff.
Excellent English skills.
2. PROJECT ASSISTANT ? Community Based Disaster Mitigation cum Design Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation (CBDM cum DIME) (1 position) working for the Area Development Program in Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province.
Main Responsibilities: To assist the ADP Manager to improve the quality of Leadership Development Project especially CBDM outcome in Tram Tau ADP and to improve the quality of Design, Implementation, Monitoring, Evaluation (DIME) system of the ADP.
Requirements:
A University graduation at any fields, preferably in Community Development Management and/or Business Administration or related fields.
At least two years experience of development work, preferably with NGO in rural community.
Fair English skills both written and spoken.
Have ability to train others and coordinate CBDM and DIME activities at the field level.
Should be able to function well in a team environment.
Be willing to travel as required by the assignment.
Ability to work with a minimum of supervision, exercise judgment, meet deadlines and work under high pressure
Common requirements for all positions:
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
Good computer skills (word processing, excel).
Work at district level
