The CMD Assistant will be working with the General Service Group and providing support to Spark Center’s CMD Program and other Programs as requested.
Duration: 1 year including 2 months of probation, with possibility of extension (expected starting date from September 2012)
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support and organize Marketplace in many provinces
• Follow up and promote the CDS contracts after Marketplaces
• Provide supports or take lead in designing, conducting the CDS market research and consolidating CDS research reports
• Be responsible for mobilizing necessary resources for conducting research
• Contact and work with related stakeholders for the collection of necessary information for the research
• Attend meetings, take notes and prepare minutes
• Participate and provide support to Spark Center’s events, such as marketplace and other workshops in provinces
• Maintain and update CDS’ provider databases
• Provide other translation, interpretation and administrative support as required by the supervisor
Desired Education, Skills and Qualifications:
• Hold a Bachelor degree in one of the following areas: Business Administration, Economics, Social Studies or related fields
• At least 2 years working experience in market development and research
• Understand clearly about capacity development servicers and CDS market
• Passion for social entrepreneurship and capacity development for poverty reduction
• Good analytical skills and reporting skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both Vietnamese and English
• Good computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Office applications
• Be proactive and entrepreneurial, with excellent team work, networking, and negotiating skills
• Willingness to travel requently to provinces
