Pathfinder International (PI) is a US-based NGO whose mission in Viet Nam is to improve reproductive health through capacity building and policy-focused initiatives that respond to the needs of the society. To this end, PI supports efforts to strengthen pre-service and in-service training in reproductive health, including core clinical reproductive health practices, youth-friendly services and HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment. In addition, PI works to strengthen reproductive health management practices and policies supportive of quality RH training and services. Since 2004, Pathfinder has directed support towards building effective partnerships in both the public and private sectors.

Pathfinder International in Vietnam is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for 02 Program Assistant posts for Reproductive Health Program. Program Assistant assists administratively and logistically YSH teams members in implementation of the thematic teams activities in the key youth and sexual health program areas including technical support and capacity building on Youth and Sexual Reproductive Health; development and revision of IEC materials; regular IEC outreach activities at the communities, strengthening clinical practice, upgrading of essential equipment and social marketing. Program Assistant also assists teams members in managing and monitoring RHPs ?s
activities of sub-grantees.
Based on the needs of the Country Office and her/his professional interests, skills and experiences, the Program Assistant will be assigned to work with different Thematic Teams, under the supervision of PI Senior Program Officer.
Requirements:
Two or more years of professional experience in health and/or development programs
University degree
Highly responsible, organized person with keen interest in Reproductive Health,
including HIV/AIDS
Strong written and verbal translations skill (English and Vietnamese)
Strong organizational skills
Strong computer and information technology skills
Able to work both independently and as team member
Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines
Able and willing to travel within Vietnam
Previous experience with an international organization is preferred
People from ethnic minorities are particularly encouraged to apply
