Oxfam America offers internship programme for young graduates who are interested in and committed to development work. Selected interns whilst providing administrative support to the team can gain essential office skills, and take part in project activities as well as a number of learning opportunities. They will gain invaluable working experience that benefits their future employment. Internship contract is lasted for one year maximum.
We are currently seeking Vietnamese nationals for Programme Intern position. Working location is Hanoi Office with occasional travel to project areas.

Job Summary : Responsible for providing support to Economic Justice campaign team
Reporting to : Vietnam Country Representative
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Take notes for workshops and field trips;
- Translate correspondences, project documents and (selected) reports;
- Provide interpretation services;
- Do filing for project documents;
- Communicate and support partners and other agencies in programme implementation;
- Provide logistic arrangements for events (meetings, workshops, trainings) and do preparation for field trips; and
- Join and writing field trip report (if required).
v University graduates
v Very good spoken and written English
v Good computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, Ms Outlook, PowerPoint)
v Good communication skills
v Ability to work independently as well as in the team
v Some knowledge of development work and rural development, but not essential
Contract type: 6 month, renewable option for 3 month.
By taking up this intern position, it is expected that the intern will: 1) gain exposure to the work of a humanitarian and development organization working for poverty-alleviation and with and on behalf of poor people in Vietnam; 2) fulfill the tasks listed above; 3) improve her/his English language and administrative support skills; and 4) gain an understanding of an international organizations’ office administrative and operational systems, which may be of benefit to the intern in any future employment.
