Médecins du Monde France (MDMF) is a French humanitarian organization. Operating in Vietnam since 1989, MDMF provides comprehensive HIV/AIDS services, ranging from prevention, VCT, to treatment, care and support, and OVC programs in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

MdMF is seeking a qualified Vietnamese national applicant to join our dynamic team in Hanoi in the role of IT specialist

Overall Role 

·         The IT specialist is in charge to design, develop and support the implementation of MDM-VN data management systems.

·         The IT specialist reports to the General Coordinator

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

·         Finalize development and ensure maintenance of an Excel database. Support the site teams in implementation for all technical aspects

·         Write specifications and develop an Access/SQL server database based on the existing excel db; plan the shift from one system to the other, supervise and support implementation

·         Develop the technical aspect of a client’s satisfaction survey and the associated analysis tools.

·         Write specifications and design the organization’s country website 

Required education, skills and qualities 

·         A degree in information technology from a nationally recognized university. MSc degree in computer sciences would be an advantage; 

·         Demonstrated expertise in database management and experience in developing database programmes;

·         good command of VBA and major database languages

·         Experience in development of web sites

·         Very good knowledge of MS-Office 

·         Strong analytical and documentation skills

·         Reasonable command of written and spoken English;

·         Good communication and interpersonal skills
