Employment Opportunity for Vietnamese National
The United States Agency for International Development is recruiting a Vietnamese National to fill the following positions in USAID/Vietnam Program Office, Hanoi:
POSITION: Development Program Specialist
Minimum Qualifications:
-Education: University degree in Business/Economics/Finance/Law or other appropriate field is required. Post graduate education and training, including a Masters Degree in an appropriate field (e.g., Business Administration/ Finance/Economics) is desirable.
-Work Experience and Knowledge: 6 years of progressively responsible professional experience in development program and financial management in the public or private sector, at least two years of which is with a foreign government, international NGO, foreign donor agency, or foreign company. A comprehensive knowledge of the concepts, principles, implementation, financing and evaluation and monitoring of development programs is required. A thorough knowledge of the Government of Vietnam’s development priorities, policies and procedures and understanding of donor development program and coordination is required. Demonstrated expertise and experience in communications and public outreach activities are required. Experience of creating and maintaining budget spreadsheets and knowledge of relevant computer software are required.
-Language Proficiency: Level IV (fluent) English and level V (native) Vietnamese language proficiency is required.
SALARY: Position Grade: FSN-11. Salary and benefits will comply with the U.S. Mission’s Local Compensation Plan and Benefits Package. Salary range is commensurate with salary history, qualifications and relevant work experience of the applicant.
