Post title: Cluster Development Agent – Wood and Furniture Industry
Duration: 3 work months initially (as a probation), with possibility of extension up to 2 years.
Date required: As soon as possible
Duty station: Ho Chi Minh City / Binh Duong, with travel as required within Vietnam
Counterpart: Enterprise Development Agency, HAWA
Qualifications:
– A University Degree in Management, Economics, Political Sciences, Engineering or related faculties, with good academic qualifications.
– An in-depth experience of at least 5 years in working with industries, industry associations or industry promotion agencies.
– In-depth knowledge of the wood processing and furniture industry in terms of its production processes, financial parameters, marketing systems and upgrading requirements.
– An in-depth understanding of the local, regional and national industrial and institutional framework.
– Consolidated experience in handling cross cutting themes as: Institutional and Association capacity building, BDS Development, Technology up gradation, Human Resource Development, Marketing and International trade.

– Conflict-resolution ability
– Integrity, initiative and dynamism
– Excellent communication and presentation skills, in verbal and written form
– Ability to draft contracts with clear deliverables to engage public and private service providers
– Ability to present and steer discussions with cluster institutions and stakeholders
Language:
