The UN in Viet Nam seeks 01 national consultant to develop the One Plan Database.

Through the Joint UN Monitoring and Evaluation Working Group, the UN in Viet Nam initiated the development of a One Plan Database (OPD) using the DevInfo software, primarily to contribute to situation analysis and monitoring of areas in which the UN provides assistance through the One Plan. The purpose of the OPD is to serve as a common UN database featuring key socio-economic data to inform the planning, monitoring and reporting process of the One Plan.

A consultant experienced in database development with knowledge of socioeconomic statistics is sought  to develop a One Plan Database using the DevInfo software, with available data entered against the identified indicators and containing a ‘gallery’ of tables, graphs and maps as well as a brief manual for database management. 

The relevant responsibilities and scope of work are further described in the terms of reference (TORs). It is expected that the successful candidate will start the assignment from 1 March 2010.
