Trung tâm Nông lâm Thế giới là một trong những thành viên của mạng lưới Nhóm Tư vấn Nghiên cứu Nông nghiệp Thế giới. Từ năm 2011, Trung tâm hợp tác nghiên cứu với các đối tác và Bộ Nông nghiệp và Phát triển Nông thôn Việt Nam trong việc thực hiện dự án “Nông lâm đối với sinh kế của những nông dân sản xuất nhỏ khu vực Tây Bắc Việt Nam”.
Dự án nhằm mục đích cải thiện hiệu suất của các hệ thống canh tác sản xuất nhỏ trong khu vực này thông qua các mô hình nông lâm kết hợp đi đôi với các vấn đề bảo vệ môi trường.
Để đảm bảo việc thực hiện dự án thuận lợi, Trung tâm có nhu cầu tuyển một kỹ thuật viên làm việc tại khu vực dự án.
Điều kiện ứng tuyển:
– Là công dân Việt Nam.
– Là cử nhân ngành Lâm nghiệp hoặc Nông nghiệp.
– Tiếng Anh viết và giao tiếp khá.
– Có thể làm việc dưới áp lực.
– Sẵn sàng đến công tác tại những vùng sâu vùng xa.
– Có khả năng làm việc độc lập và làm việc theo nhóm.
– Có tổ chức, có khả năng làm việc đáp ứng thời hạn đã định.

World Agroforestry Centre – Southeast Asia Regional Office is recruiting a Field Technician in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) is one of a network of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research(CGIAR). The Position
Since 2011, ICRAF Vietnam has been collaborating with research partners and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in the three provinces of Yen Bai, Son La and Dien Bien in implementing a research project “Agroforestry for Livelihoods of Smallholder Farmers in North-West Vietnam”. The project aims to improve the performance of smallholder farming systems in North-West Vietnam through agroforestry, while addressing the environmental problems.
To ensure the smoothly implementation of the project activities, ICRAF is seeking for an open-minded, dynamic and energetic field technician, who will be based in the northwest region of Vietnam.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Project Field Coordinator, the successful candidate will be expected to perform the tasks as follows:
Conduct regular field monitoring of all activities in the project sites especially those of objective 1 and 2.
Provide support, if necessary to the partner’s research staff during trial’s site selection, establishment and management of agroforestry trials and nurseries, and ensure that the trials are established according to the agreed design.
Monitor data collection activities in field trials
Collect data or information, as neces sary.
Prepare field reports
Report to the Project Field Coordinator regularly the implementation status of field trials and other issues arising from the field.
Support in organising capacity building activities such as trainings, workshops etc…
Maintain good relationship with partners and other stakeholders in the project sites.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Must be a Vietnamese national
Holding bachelor degree, graduated in agriculture, forestry or related course (having experience is an merit)
Good command in English written and oral communication
Proven ability in managing stressful working conditions
Willingness to travel and stay in remote parts of the project areas
Ability to work in multi and interdisciplinary teams
Well organized; able to meet deadline
Willing to learn new skills/knowledge related to the scope/content of the specified projects.
Generate creative, practical approaches to overcome challenging situations .
Terms of offer
This is a field staff, local-hired fixed term appointment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
The contract is for a period of 1 (one) year, with high possibility of renewal, subject to 2 (two) month probation period,
assessment of performance and availability of resources.
