Wildlife Crime Case Officer
Stop wildlife crime! Work closely with a highly motivated team of dedicated young professionals to combat wildlife crime. Transfer reports of crimes received on the ENV National Wildlife Crime Hotline to the relevant authorities, monitor and track cases that have been reported, and accurately document the results of closed cases. Highly rewarding and meaningful work for a passionate and enthusiastic young person seeking to make a difference in society.

Wildlife Crime “End Bear Farming” Case Officer
Say “no” to bear bile and help ENV bring an end to bear farming in Vietnam. The ENV Wildlife Crime Unit (WCU) is looking for a dedicated team-member to focus exclusively on bear crimes. Monitor and track bear-related cases, assist in organizing surveys of bear farms, conduct public attitude surveys, and coordinate the ENV provincial pilot monitoring project. An excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and capable candidate.

Wildlife Trade Program Research Officer
Investigate the dynamics of the wildlife trade, working alongside an international wildlife trade specialist from ENV’s partner organization, the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS). This position is ideal for a research-minded candidate who will head up ENV’s wildlife trade research program, obtaining evidence that will be used to strengthen efforts to combat wildlife crime in Vietnam. Conduct farming and trade surveys, analyze data, assist in enforcement training activities, and provide input to other ENV wildlife trade-focused programs and activities. Candidates will be assessed based on experience OR their potential to learn new skills and become a valuable part of the ENV team.

Primate Program Officer
Help protect some of the world’s most endangered primates in the wild. ENV is looking for a strong candidate with scientific research skills to develop and coordinate primate conservation work in Vietnam with our international partner organization for primate work, Conservation International. Conduct field surveys and monitor wild populations of endangered primates. Analyze results and coordinate implementation of conservation interventions aimed at protecting primates in the wild. The primate conservation program is a new initiative at ENV and a unique opportunity for the right candidate to develop a successful program aimed at protecting gibbons and langurs in the wild, utilizing the combined resources of ENV’s existing awareness, enforcement, and advocacy programs to achieve genuine results.

Website and Communications Specialist
ENV is looking for a young and enthusiastic website administrator to help manage our Vietnamese and English language websites, and further develop ENV’s E-communications capabilities. The successful candidate will have experience working with Dreamweaver, knowledge of administering forums, E-distribution lists, and conducting online surveys, and developing new and creative approaches to reaching and communicating with our internet-based audience.
