JOB VACANCY

World Vision Vietnam (WVV) invites competent Vietnamese candidates for the position PROJECT OFFICER, working for the Comprehensive Education for Ethnic Minority Children project, based in Dien Bien city with travel to Muong Cha and Tuan Giao districts, Dien Bien province.

The Comprehensive Education for Ethnic Minority Children project aims to improve access and enrolment in primary and secondary school education for ethnic minority children living in remote areas of Muong Cha and Tuan Giao istricts, Dien Bien province through improved access to primary and secondary education; improved quality and effectiveness of teaching and learning in primary and secondary schools and increased diversity of food among boarding school students.

Main Responsibilities: To assist the Program Manager in designing and developing project plans, monitoring the implementation of project activities to achieve stipulated objectives, and to transfer the ownership of the development of the project to the community members.

Requirements:
University graduate in any field, preferably in health, education, community development or social work.
At least 3 years relevant work experience in community development including demonstrated capacity in program management.
Leadership skills including representation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Well-developed English skills.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
Good computer skills (word processing, excel).
World Vision Vietnam is a Christian non-government organization.
