JOB VACANCIES

World Vision Vietnam (WVV) invites competent Vietnamese candidates for the following positions:

1. PROJECT OFFICER- HIV/AIDS (1 position), working for the PEPFAR (President?s Emergency Plan For Aids Relief) care and support project for People Living With HIV/AIDS. Based in Hai Phong.

Main Responsibilities:
To assist the Project Manager in designing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of the project.

Requirements:
University degree in medicine, public health or a related discipline.
At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
Background in primary health care, community based rehabilitation, community development and an understanding of, or experience in, dealing with HIV/AIDS issues will be helpful.
Well-developed representation and negotiation skills.
Experience in managing and supervising staff, with strong liaison and interpersonal skills.
Well-developed writing and oral communications skills in English.

2. PROJECT ASSISTANT (1 position) working for the New Beginnings for the
Children project, based in Haiphong.

This project supports children through (1) Education, vocational training, life-skills training, and nutrition to improve the lives of children living and working on the streets of Hai Phong and Hanoi; (2) Orthopedic surgery, physiotherapy, and community-based rehabilitation for children with disabilities; and (3) training and capacity building for local partners in designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating project activities.

Main Responsibilities:
To assist the Project Officer in planning, coordinating, monitoring and implementation of various activities of the project.

Requirements:
University graduate in any field, preferably in social sciences or public health.
At least one-year experience of development works, preferably with NGOs.
Good English skills.

Common requirements for all positions:
Good computer skills (word processing, excel).
World Vision Vietnam is a Christian non-government organization.
Applicants having working experience in a similar kind of organization will be an advantage.
