Tổ chức World Concern tại Lào cần tuyển vị trí quản lý chương trình, quản lý dự án, trợ lý hành chính, thông dịch viên/giáo viên Tiếng Anh và trợ lý hiện trường làm việc tại Lào. Chi tiết công việc như sau:

World Concern Laos is urgently seeking qualified national staff to fill the following positions:

INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS (IDP) IN CHAMPASAK AND SEKONG

Program Manager (x1 based in Champasak)

Key responsibilities: (1) provides leadership and results ownership for qualitative and quantitative growth of the Laos Program, its staff and stakeholders by developing and implementing a shared vision for the country program that is aligned with WC global vision, mission, goals and principles and the current WCL country strategic plan and directions.

(2) Increase quality and quantity of WC Laos’ programs by developing, implementing & monitoring measurable indicators that align with donor and World Concern standards;

(3) Develop competences in specific sectoral areas of development that align to WCL strategic plan and build brand-value of WCL within WCL stakeholders; Specifically seeking opportunities to integrate Disaster Risk Reduction and Child Protection and Development strategies into overall program design;

(4) Implement, manage and maintain WC Laos’ growth strategy including sourcing and spotting funding opportunities to increase country revenues by at least 20% annually;

(5) Develop the performance and leadership capacity of Project Managers and field staff in Sekong, Champassak and other areas as may be identified as part of WCL’s succession planning and leadership development directions.

 

Minimum requirements: (1) University Degree in agriculture, economic or rural development or similar field.(2) 5 years relief/development experiences in effective community based rural and peri-urban development, background in Disaster Response & Risk Reduction and Child Protection/Development helpful. (3) Experience in project design and delivery, monitoring and reporting; (4) Thorough knowledge and proven experience in Participatory Processes in need assessment, research, design, planning and delivery competency. (5) Knowledge of the principles of grassroots development and problem-solving. (5) Demonstrated ability of team and consensus-building as well a proven ability to resolve conflict in cross-cultural environment. (6) Ability to organize and perform within diverse cultural contexts and stressful environments. (7) Cross-cultural sensitivity, expanded worldview, emotional maturity and physical stamina. (8) Commitment to World Concern core values and mission statement. (9) Computer literate (MS Office and relevant applications). (10) Excellent facilitation skills that foster idea sharing, group problem solving and consensus building.

 

Project Manager (x1 Champasak)

Key responsibilities: (1) To provide team leadership, supervision and project management of WC’s Integrated Development Project for Prevention of HIV/AIDS (IDP-PHA) in 7 villages of Phonthong District, Champasak Province; (2) To coordinate project planning and reporting with government partners (District, Province) To coordinate and assist the Field Assistants to implement the project activities. (3) To coordinate with the Local Authorities to ensure the documentation and secure the sustainability of the program. (4) To monitor/follow-up the program implemented in the districts and villages.

Minimum requirements: (1) Experience in INGO management or equivalent; sound understanding of participative community development; training and experience in at least one sector specialty (e.g. rural development, health or education); experience in leading teams to achieve project goals; (2) English & Lao fluency required; (3) 2-5 years experience in community development.

 

Accounting/Administrative Assistant (x1 Champasak)

Key responsibilities: (1) To provide key administrative and accounting support to IDP-PHA Project. (2) Supervision of project budget on a monthly basis and keeping the Finance Manager and Project Manager informed of direst costs and other expenses which may be overspent at any time. Permission has to be first granted from the Program Advisor/Finance Manager before spending on any over budgeted expenses.

Minimum requirements: (1) Basic qualification in accounting or book keeping; (2) 2-3 years work experience in administration, and accounting /book keeping preferable in NGO sector; (3) Basic English

 

Administrator/Translator/English teacher (x1 Champasak)

Key responsibilities: (1) To support the day to day translation needs (verbal and written) of the field office. (2) To provide a high standard of translation of project documents and other administration translation as required. (3) To ensure that documents are translated accurately and in time to meet project deadlines. (3) English teaching and administrative assistance. (4) government relations (provincial & district levels).

Minimum requirements: (1) 2-3 years work experience as a administration/translator/English teaching in the NGO sector. (2) Demonstrated computer skills, typing and data entry (MS Office). (3) Excellent command of written and spoken English and fluency in Lao. (4) Ability to work independently and prioritize work without close supervision. (5) Demonstrates spirit of service and cooperation in interaction with co-workers, supervisors and government partners. (6) Demonstrates high level of reliability, trust worthiness and transparency.

 

Field Assistants (x4 in Champasak, x2 in Sekong)

Key responsibilities: (1) To implement project goals through planning and coordinating activities, facilitating these activities, and reporting outcomes for target villages in Champasak or Sekong Provinces; (2) To monitor and evaluate these village activities to show how these outcomes benefit target villages.

Minimum requirements: (1) Experience in group facilitation, community liaison, or participative development; (2) Ability to communicate well within a team environment; (3) Sensitivity towards ethnic minority groups and awareness of gender-related issues; (4) Technical skills and/or 1-2 years work experience in agriculture/rural development and health (for Champasak position), education (for Champask and Sekong position), or micro-finance (for Sekong position); (5) Basic English.
