World Vision International – Vietnam (WVV) invites Vietnamese competent candidates for the following positions:

1. BOOKKEEPER (1 position), working for the Mekong Delta Regional Trafficking Strategy project – Phase II. Based in Hanoi. Deadline for application: 31 October 2010.
Main Responsibilities:
The position assists the Project Manager in maintaining the books of accounts and other financial records of the Project & adhering to the financial standards of World Vision financial system to ensure accountability.
Requirements:
University degree in accounting or finance.
Good knowledge of and 1 year work experience in accounting.
Ability to use Excel spreadsheet.
Good English skills.

2. PROJECT ASSISTANT – WATSAN (2 positions) working for the Area Development Program (ADP) in Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province and Tien Lu district, Hung Yen province. Deadline for application: 10 November 2010.
Area Development Program (ADP) is an approach to child focused development, emphasizing the process of community participation, sustainability, and integrating activities in the areas of food security, agriculture, micro-enterprise, health, nutrition, education, water, and sanitation.
Main Responsibilities:
The position supports World Vision Vietnam to improve the children and the local people‘s health status through improving awareness on water and sanitation and increasing access, availability, and utilization of clean water and sanitation in the targeted commune(s) within three years (Oct 2010 – Sep 2013) in Tien Lu district, Hung Yen province or Nhu Xuan
district, Thanh Hoa province.
The position assists the ADP Manager in designing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of project activities to achieve stipulated objectives, to expand the WASH suitable models into the ADP and to transfer the ownership of the project’s development to the community when the project ends.
Requirements:
University graduate in any field, preferably in environment sector, water and sanitation, public health, or community development.
1 year relevant work experience in Community Development.
Good computer skills (word processing, excel).
Good reading and report writing skills in English.
Willingness to work at the project sites (district level) with frequent travel.

3. PROJECT ASSISTANT – HEALTH (2 positions) working for the Area Development Program (ADP) in Ba Thuoc district and Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province. Deadline for application: 10 November 2010.
Main Responsibilities:
The position assists the ADP Manager in planning, implementing, and monitoring the Health project activities at the ADP.
Requirements:
University/college graduate in public health, medical or community development.
1 year relevant or community development working experience.
Basic English skills with good reading skills.
Good computer skills (word processing, excel).
Work at district level.

4. PROJECT ASSISTANT – AGRICULTURE (1 position) working for the ADP in Nhu Xuan ADP district, Thanh Hoa province. Deadline for application: 10 November 2010.
Main Responsibilities:
The position assists the ADP Manager in planning, implementing, and monitoring the livestock project activities at the ADP.
Requirements:
University/college graduate in agriculture, preferably husbandry or veterinary.
1 year relevant or community development working experience.
Basic English skills with good reading skills.
Good computer skills (word processing, excel).
Work at district level.

5. PROJECT ASSISTANT – CAPACITY BUILDING cum MONITORING & EVALUATION (1 position) working for the ADP Lang Chanh district, Thanh Hoa province. Deadline for application: 10 November 2010.
Main Responsibilities:
The position assists the ADP Manager in planning, implementing, and monitoring the capacity building project activities and to improve the quality of Design, Implementation, Monitoring, Evaluation (DIME) system of the ADP.
Requirements:
University graduate, preferably Community Development or Economics.
1 year working experiences in community development.
Knowledge and work experience in Monitoring & Evaluation and
management of information systems is preferred.
Good skills in training and capacity building.
Good reading and report writing skills in English.
Good computer skills (word processing, excel).
Work at district level
