JOB VACANCIES

World Vision Vietnam (WVV) invites competent Vietnamese candidates for the following positions:

1. FINANCE OFFICER/ BOOKKEEPER (1 position) working for the Area Development Program (ADP) in Phu Cu district, Hung Yen province.

ADP is an approach to child focused development, emphasizing the process of community participation, sustainability, and integrating activities in the areas of food security, agriculture, micro-enterprise, health, nutrition, education, water, and sanitation.

Main Responsibilities: The position assists the ADP Manager in maintaining the books of accounts and other financial records of the project & adhering to the financial standards of World Vision financial system to ensure accountability.

Requirements:
University or College degree in accounting and finance.
Good knowledge of and work experience in accounting.
Ability to use Excel spreadsheet.
Basic English skills with good reading skills.
Work at district level.

2. PROJECT ASSISTANT ? Child Participation (1 position) working for the Area Development Programs in Phu Cu district, Hung Yen province.

Main Responsibilities: To assist the ADP Manager and Child Participation Officer in World Vision Vietnam (WVV) in increasing the level and quality of Child Participation in project activities through coordinating local Child Participation volunteers and implementing Child Participation activities of the ADP.

Requirements:
University/College graduate in any field (preferably in Community Development or Pedagogy).
At least 1-2 years relevant experience in working with children and/or working for community development projects.
Capacity building experience is helpful.
Good written and oral communication skills in English.
Work at district level.

3. PROJECT OFFICER ? Capacity Building (1 position) working for the Area Development Program in Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province.

Main Responsibilities: To support WV Vietnam to improve the quality of capacity building activities for the project management network at the ADP, with a focus on leadership capacity of the Project Management Board members and Hamlet Facilitators in Tram Tau Area Development

Requirements:
A University graduate at any field, preferably in Community Development Management and/or Pedagogy, Sociology or related fields.
Good knowledge and work experiences on Project Management and Capacity building.
Understanding of and work experience with NGOs and in research field is desirable.
Ability to train others and coordinate capacity building activities at the field level.
Ability to communicate in H?Mong and/or Thai language would be an advantage.
Good English skills (mainly reading and writing) is a must.
Work at district level.

4. PROJECT ASSISTANT- HIV/AIDS (01 position) working for the ?Comprehensive Care and Support – PEPFAR? project. Based in Haiphong.

Main Responsibilities: To assist the Project Officer in designing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of the project.

Requirements:
University graduate in any field (preferably in the field of medicine, public health or community development).
At least 1 year working experience in the area of HIV/AIDS.
Basic English skills with good reading skills.

Common Requirements:
Good computer skills (word processing, excel).
World Vision Vietnam is a Christian non-government organization.
