The Vietnam – Belgium Project ?Improving pre- and in-service training of primary and lower secondary teachers in the Northern Highlands of Vietnam? (VIE 04 019 11) aiming at improving the quality of primary and lower secondary education in 14 northern provinces of Vietnam is seeking to recruit experienced candidates for the following full time positions:
1. ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT (01POSITION):
– Good bachelor degree in accounting and finance
– 2 years professional experience in accounting in international organizations
– Very good command of English and Vietnamese (reading and writing)
– Familiar with accounting soft wares
– Sound knowledge of contracts (consultancy contracts, economic contracts, service contracts)
– Good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, team worker
– Sensitive to and interested in ethnic minority issues
– Willing to work overtime and travel to provinces
– Ability to work independently and under high pressure
2. PROJECT OFFICER (01 POSITION):
– University degree or equivalent in education, social sciences or related fields
– 3 years professional experience in educational development/teachers training projects management (experience of educational and teacher issues in disadvantaged mountainous areas would be an asset)
– Understanding of primary and lower secondary education innovation
– Good report writing skills
– Very good command of English and Vietnamese
– Knowledge of French would be an asset, but is not essential
– Ability to use computer and office soft wares (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
– Good interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, team worker
– Sensitive to and interested in ethnic minority issues
– Willing to work overtime and travel to provinces
– Ability to work independently and under high pressure
